Sabudana Thalipeet
Recipe for Sabudana Thalipeet
(Sago Flat thick Bread)
Serves 2 persons
Ingredients:
Soaked Sabudana 1 Cup
Green chillies - 3 to 4 (as per your taste)
Ground nuts - 1/2 cup
Salt - as per your requirement.
Oil - any cooking oil 3 spoons
Soaking Procedure:
- Add water to Sabudana, leave it for a minute.
- Drain the water after a minute, leaving a little portion of water, close the lid.
- Keep it for an hour before you prepare.
Preparation:
- Roast, peel and Grind Ground nuts.
- Take a soaked sabudana in a container and add:
- Grinded ground nuts
- Chopped green chillies
- Salt as per your requirement
- Make a dough with little water(if required).
- Take a flat pan and add three teaspoon oil.
- Flatten the dough on the pan with hand and make small openings to prevent over cooking.
- Keep the flat pan on the stove on medium flame and close the lid.
- It will take 3-5 minutes to cook, when it turns brown, switch off the flame.
- Serve it hot with curd.
