Metkut
Ingredients:
250 grams of Chana dal
50grams of all other ingredients like: Toordal, Moong dal, urad dal, wheat, mustard, dhaniya(corriander seeds), rice, jeera, 1 spoon Methi/Fenugreek seeds.
1 spoon of turmeric, black pepper
1/4th spoon of Asafoetida(Hing)
Recipe:
Roast each separately to little brownish, (not too deep roasting) and Grind it to fine powder. Mix turmeric, Asafoetida.
Metkut will be tasteless yellow flour but filled with Aroma.In picture the color is looking light yellow but in reality it is little more darker.
You can eat rice , ghee, salt and Metkut, it is one of the yummiest breakfast or anytime food. We feed soft rice with Metkut to an year old baby as it is healthy and its alltime favorite of kids and adults. Other awesome combinations are with: curd rice, pickle rice, add little Metkut to in raita(koshimbir) of cucumber or Onion.
