Bhajji
Ingredients:
Spinach - 3 cups
Green chillies - 6 -8
Each pulse soaked or sprouts 3 spoons each(kidney beans, Garbanzo(chole), black eyes beans, whole green gram(Moog), Matki)
Toor dal - 2 cups
Garlic cloves - 6
Oil - 3 spoons
Turmeric 1/2spoon
Asafoetida - 1/4 th spoon
Cumin seeds 1 spoon
Mustard seeds 1 spoon
Corriander powder - 3 spoons
Amchur powder - 2 spoons
Red chillies -3
Kasuri methi 1 spoon(optional , can add fenugreek seeds)
Recipe:
1. Take a cooker, add oil, let it heat.
2. Add cumin, mustard seeds, turmeric, asafoetida, red chillies, chopped spinach, toast it.
3. Add grinded chill garlic paste, amchur powder, Corriander powder, add all soaked pulses, add washed toor dal, add water sufficient to cook, atleast 5-6 cups, add salt, close the lid of cooker.
4. Let it cook, atleast 6 whistles, dal/Bhajji will be ready!
