Saboodana khichadi
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
Soaked Saboodana - 2 cups
Green chillies- 5
Groundnuts - baked and peeled - Grinded 2/3 rd cup
2 potatoes - chopped
Oil - 4 Tspoons
Jeera - 1 spoon
Recipe:
Add oil to pan, add Jeera and add potatoes, let it fry until light brown, then add mixture of Saboodana and grinded ground nut powder, mix and close the lid.
Saboodana will turn little transparent from white color then it means it cooked properly, add salt and squeeze lemon, mix properly and the khichadi is ready.
Note: Instead of potatoes, you can add chopped cucumber or even grated cucumber...little variation...
